FAQs

  • This year’s Ceremony will take place at the City Halls, Candleriggs, Glasgow, G1 1NQ

  • You must register online.  Click this link to go to the registration page.

    • Select your course from the drop down options (please note which session you will be attending)
    • Fill out all the relevant information on the form including your name (as you would like it to appear on your certificate) and how many guest tickets you require.
  • Once you have registered for the Graduation you will book your gown with Academy Graduations. It is compulsory to wear a gown at the ceremony. Please make sure you register for the graduation before booking your gown.

    When you enter the Academy Graduations website, click on the Glasgow Kelvin College Logo to take you to the appropriate page.

  • Once you have registered for the Graduation you will book your gown with Academy Graduations.  You can pre-book your photography package from this site. Pre-booking will minimise queuing time for photographs at the event.

  • Each Graduand can request up to four guest tickets. 

  • If you require extra guest tickets, please contact us using the form on the graduation page, we will let you know nearer the time if extra tickets can be allocated. We cannot allocate extra tickets until we have a final count of Graduands so please be patient if you are waiting for a response. 

  • These will be available to collect at the Registration Desk on the day, you can then pass them to your guests prior to the start of the ceremony.

  • Please contact us and let us know as soon as possible. Following the Graduation Ceremony, your certificate will be posted out to you.

  • Please speak to your Course Organiser immediately and also let us know at graduation@glasgowkelvin.ac.uk 

  • You are permitted to bring children to the graduation ceremony however, because of the nature of the ceremony and the length (approximately 2 hours), we would consider it not suitable for children. If your child becomes restless during the ceremony, it would be a kindness to others to take him / her from the venue as quickly and quietly as possible.
