F GAS CITY & GUILDS 2079 CATEGORY 1
This City & Guilds 2079 Category 1 training course is designed for those working within the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry who are required to meet the legal requirements for working with Fluorinated Gases, or F-Gases, and other ozone depleting substances.
This qualification is for operatives who require certification of competence to carry out all work on all REFAC systems such as installation, recovery, maintenance and repairs, regardless of F Gas quantity.

This F-Gas training and qualification for Fluorinated gases and ozone depleting substances is a requirement for those carrying out installation, maintenance, servicing or purchasing of stationary equipment containing F-Gas refrigerants.
The training will provide the knowledge and practical skills to undertake leak checking, recovery, installation, servicing and maintenance of stationary refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump equipment containing refrigerants.
Our F-Gas training courses are delivered at our Springburn Campus within the specialist Air Conditioning and Refrigeration workshops.
What you need to qualify for entry...
Candidates will be working within the refrigeration & air conditioning industry and need to handle, install, maintain, commission, work with or purchase products or equipment that contains fluorinated gases (F-Gas) and other ozone depleting substances.
Ideally, all candidates should hold a BRA Brazing certificate or a relevant award prior to the course. Please contact us if you require this certification.
