This is a practical course designed for anyone working within a food handling environment i.e. restaurants, bars, nurseries, residential homes, day care facilities or any establishment which handles food.
The course provides basic knowledge and understanding of good food safety practices as required by law.

What you need to qualify for entry...
You will need a good understanding of the English language is essential.
Candidates are assessed by way of a multiple choice exam paper. The examination will take place during the one day course.
Upon successful completion, candidates can then undertake the REHIS Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate course.
This is the minimum requirement for anyone working within a food handling establishment.
