Course overview
Our new short-course, Fashion Design with Costume, will give you the skills needed to progress your career in both the fashion and the costume industry.
Over the past 10 years, Scotland has grown its connections within film and TV on a global scale and more jobs and opportunities within the industry are now available as a result.
On the programme, you will learn about theatrical design, how to construct patterns for creating costumes from scratch, as well as learning the art of millinery, covering important techniques such as surface decoration, and learning sewing machine skills.

Entry requirements
Entry is by interview and successful candidates will be able to discuss their interest in Fashion generally and, more specifically, costume.
You may also supply evidence of your creative skills in the form of a portfolio of work showing fashion designs, art work, garments you have made or customised.
