Course Information

What does this mean?

NQ ART, DESIGN & DIGITAL MEDIA

This course introduces you to the core elements of art and design and will take you through a range of both fine art and design processes. You will gain new skills in drawing and painting, printmaking, graphic design and illustration.

You will also learn to use contemporary design software (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) and associated hardware such as scanners and digital cameras.

Full Time

1 Academic Year

August - June.

This course enables you to build a portfolio of work suitable for a range of HND and degree courses.

The progression routes from this course are varied and include graphic design, illustration, fine art, contemporary art practice, textile design, interior design, applied arts, model making for film and television, animation and others at both Scottish colleges and further afield
