Course overview

The NQ Performance Tech course will give you a rounded learning of sound, lighting, multimedia and technical theatre.

You will train with expert teaching staff, delivering the necessary industry techniques and training required to allow you to develop your technical skill set.

This course is one of the few Glasgow based, NQ Performance Tech SQA awarded courses.

We work in partnership with Platform Theatre where many performance and productions take place. We also work with outside industry professionals who deliver industry expert workshops making sure our work is up to date and line with current market trends.

Entry requirements

Entry is by interview where you will explain why you are looking to do this course. Having experience in sound and theatre is preferred but not essential.

We welcome all applications of all levels.

For this course, if English is not your first language

  • you need to have SQA ESOL Higher (or equivalent)
  • If you do not have a formal ESOL qualification but your language skills meet this level, you should apply for your course and then contact our Admissions team to organise an internal language assessment ┬áhere at the College.
