Welcome to the last regular Blog update of this academic year, we will keep you updated from time to time over the summer with what is going on, but this is our last full update until mid August.
We have plenty to share this week, with the Degree Fashion Show and our Civil Engineer students taking part in Constructionarium and be sure not to miss the pictures of a beautiful wooden table made by one of our students.
Civil Students at Constructionarium 2018
At this year's Constructionarium event our HND Civil Engineering students were working on the Barcelona Tower and the Westrigg Wind Turbines projects. As is the case every year, they were joined by 6 Russian exchange students from Rostov-On-Don University. Both set of students worked together very well for the 5 days, with guidance and encouragement from our own Kevin Gallacher.
Constructionarium is a challenging but ultimately rewarding experience for the students taking part, providing invaluable skill-building and team-working opportunities.
Thanks to Dale Lyon and Constructionarium Scotland once again.

This was a successful workshop, alive with energy, character, attitude and personality.
A great way for learners to take part in new work and learn from current industry practitioners.
