Everyone at Glasgow Kelvin College is gearing up for the musical event of the year on Thursday 31st May at Oran Mor when respected student label, Electric Honey, will be welcoming audiences to their Electric Honey Showcase.
There will be Colonel Mustard and the Dijon Five, who have recorded their signature tune ‘Peace, Love and Mustard’ for the dynamic College label which has been released on all digital platforms and on CD from 21st May.
A well-established and much-loved live act, Colonel Mustard will headline as a warm-up to their appearance at the International DMZ Peace Train Music Festival in South Korea which has been scheduled for the summer. The band are already getting considerable national press coverage and the label is pleased to be involved with them.

The label is also delighted to announce the release of Glasgow Kelvin HN Music Performance student, Toni Woods’, new single ‘Better Man’ on 11th May. A promising young lyrical talent, Toni will also be appearing at the Showcase on 31st May and her single has already been picked up by BBC Radio Scotland DJ and local musician, Roddy Hart, who is a great champion of the label and new local talent in general.
From Easterhouse, Toni is in her 2nd year of the programme and has worked closely with GKC Art & Design student Jennifer Shearer on her cover art design. The lineup for Oran Mor includes The Nikajackmen, an exciting new Indie rock band with an Americana twits and ‘Trap’ artist and Music Business student, Peter Masambuku AKA Paque, will also be performing new material recorded for imminent release on Electric Honey.
