Students from the fashion department also got the opportunity to take part in yet another fantastic collaborative opportunity, this time with Young Enterprise Scotland.
They were tasked with creating a design concept for the Young Enterprise Scotland Festival in May.
7 students participated in presentations to YES Programmes Management Representatives Alan Gordon, Mark Armstrong and Lisa Wardlaw. The judges were very impressed with the design work and professional standard of the presentations from the students.
3 winners have been announced with them being asked to combine their design ideas for a final product. The winning students were Maia Winton, Lauren Clancy and Lorna McCormack. Well done we look forward to seeing the finished product being manufactured!
A special mention to Ellis Bird, the judges were very impressed with her designs and wish to collaborate with her on a future project!
The department would especially like to thank Alan Gordon for all of his hard work and support to the students.
