The Fashion Collective are pleased to announce that the second year fashion students have chosen Glasgow Care Foundation as their charity for this year.
For over 140 years, this small charity have been assisting families and individuals who cannot get help from any other agencies with basic household goods. They also support local community projects, holidays for families and distribute toys and food vouchers at Christmas.
Their fundraising campaign kicked off on Wednesday the 30th of October, with their annual Halloween bake sale in the foyer of the Springburn campus.
The bake sale raised £356 for Glasgow Care Foundation, which was an excellent start to fundraising campaign. Charity chairman Christopher Steward popped in to speak to the students and staff about the charity and how their money raised will help people living in poverty.
