This course is ideal if you want to start a career in administration or related jobs such as medical receptionist, general receptionist, clerical assistant, data entry clerk, call centre operative and many others.
The qualification can also help you to access opportunities in a range of sectors including auditing, hospitality, health services, financial services, sales & marketing, human resources, retail or if you are looking to start up your own business.
This course is designed to deliver a broad spectrum of Administrative & Digital Skills including a medical receptionist qualification
You will also learn to use:
- Office 365 for collaborative work
- Microsoft Teams for communication and remote working

Entry requirements
- Three National 4 qualifications, including English at grade C or above (or equivalent) OR
- An appropriate NQ/NC at level 4 in a relevant subject (including Communications at L4)
Applicants without formal qualifications are encouraged to apply and will be assessed on an individual basis.
For this course, if English is not your first language
- you need to have SQA ESOL National 5 (or equivalent, click here to see equivalent qualifications)
- If you do not have a formal ESOL qualification but your language skills meet this level, you should apply for your course and then contact our Admissions team to organise an internal language assessment here at the College.
