DRESS MAKING (EVENING CLASS)
Our pattern course will provide you with the skills and knowledge of pattern drafting. You will be introduced to the equipment and techniques used in Pattern construction in which you will gain an understanding of measurements and learn the skills to enable you to draft a pattern block as well as production patterns.
You will be required to follow the health and safety guidelines set.

No requirements- Recommended for candidates of a beginner’s level

- This Unit is designed to provide candidates with an introduction to garment pattern construction using industrial methods.
- You will learn how to create a basic pattern block (waist suspended)
- You will then create a production pattern for a garment.
Evening Class - 1 evening per week - Wednesday
Duration 10 Weeks.
Tuesday evenings - 3 hours per night - 5.30 to 8.30 pm.
Start date Wednesday 11th January 2023
Student may progress to more advance evening classes such as dressmaking, advance dressmaking, corsetry or millinery.
Student often progress onto our full time National certificate and higher national diploma programs.
