DRESS MAKING (EVENING CLASS)
Our Dressmaking course will provide you with the skills and knowledge of garment manufacturing. You will learn a range of techniques used in dressmaking which will prepare you for making a garment. (We usually find time for some leisure activities also)
You will be introduced to industrial machinery such as lockstitch and overlocking machines therefore you are required to follow the health and safety guidelines set.

No requirements- Recommended for candidates of a beginner’s level

- This Unit is designed to develop sewing skills for waist suspended garments.
- You will learn a range of sewing techniques using industrial equipment and methods.
- You will then produce a range of sewing samples before completing a waist suspended garment.
Evening Class - 1 evening per week - Thursday
Duration 10 Weeks.
Tuesday evenings - 3 hours per night - 5.30 to 8.30 pm.
Start date Thursday 12th January 2023
Student may progress to more advance evening classes such as advance dressmaking, pattern drafting, corsetry or millinery.
Student often progress onto our full time National certificate and higher national diploma programs.
