NQ PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
Personal Achievement Awards recognise small but significant successes in a variety of areas. These Awards are ideal for those who require additional support for learning, it enables learners to build up achievements in small steps.
Available at SCQF Levels 1 & 2 and at three stages of achievement: Bronze, Silver and Gold.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
Applicants will be invited in to the College for an informal discussion.
The Personal Achievement Award provides certification for combinations of different Units successfully completed by learners:
Developing Independence Theme:
- Having your Say
- Healthy Eating
- Hobbies and Interests
- Looking after your Home
- Performing Arts
- Individual Activity
- Personal Health
- Personal Presentation
- Personal Relationships
- Safety and Security.
Taking Part in the Community Theme:
- Community Activity
- Exploring a Local Area
- Financial Awareness
- Performing Arts: Group Activity
- Promoting Health
- Social Events.
The Personal Achievement Award at SCQF Level 1 and SCQF Level 2 has three different stages of achievement: Bronze, Silver and Gold.
At each stage, learners must complete two Units, one each from the Developing Independence and Taking Part in the Community themes.
Learners can progress through the Bronze, Silver and Gold stages, building on their achievements at each stage.
This Course is undertaken on a Part/ Time basis.
Attendance can range from 1 session – 4 sessions per week (2hrs per session).
Further Units at SCQF Levels 1 and 2,in related topics or Units at SCQF Level 3 in related topics.
