Cheered on by the hairdressing students, Debra’s friend, Leigh Tambourini, helped Debra to achieve her goal by snipping around 14” off the length of her hair, and managed to turn it into an enjoyable masterclass in styling for the enthralled learners!
Debra recently lost a dear friend to cancer and felt the need to do something to help others battling this disease. She has not only raised a pretty impressive amount for Cancer Research UK but has donated her shorn locks to the Little Princess Trust, who craft real-hair wigs for children who have lost their hair during their treatment.
“I feel it’s a very good cause and there are people affected by this disease on a daily basis. I’m glad I can do some little thing to help – and I love my new hairstyle!”
A fun morning with a serious message – and a great fundraising effort!! Watch the Youtube video here.
