This year, the College takes part in the European Mobility Week to promote sustainable transport to staff and students and to progress towards a more sustainable, efficient and pleasant mobility culture.
Here’s the programme:
Monday 16th Sept: Free Dr Bike session at Springburn campus, 11.30-1.30, in collaboration with Bike for Good
E-bike demo – Students and staff will have the opportunity to have a try on one of our e-bikes at Springburn campus
Tuesday 17th Sept: Free Dr Bike session at West-End campus, 12-1, in collaboration with Lambhill Stables
Wednesday 18th Sept: Free Dr Bike session at East-End campus, 11.30-1.30, in collaboration with On Bikes. Police Scotland will provide free bike marking.
Thursday 19th Sept: Active Travel Breakfast – get a free breakfast if you walked or cycled to the College, 10-11 at the Velocity Cycle Hub – Springburn campus
Cycle Fun day – join us and have a go on one of the many adaptive bikes provided by Free Wheel North, 11.30-13.30, Springburn campus
The Dr Bike session at Easterhouse, planned on Wed 4th Sept, has been cancelled due to the weather conditions, it is now rescheduled on Thursday 19th from 12 to 1pm.
No need to register. Everyone is welcome.
