If you have forgotten your password and can’t access College systems then you can regain access to your account by using the Self Service Password Reset system (or SSPR for short). SSPR allows you to reset your password from any device, at any time, without the involvement of the College’s ICT team.
You should have setup SSPR when you first logged into your account at the start of session 2020/21 (essentially since the 1st of August). If you haven’t setup SSPR then please email ictservicedesk@newsite.glasgowkelvin.ac.uk and someone will get back in touch with you.
If you have setup SSPR and wish to reset your password then follow these instructions (all images can be enlarged by clicking on them):
1. Go to this link - www.office.com - and enter your College username (which is also your College email address) – click Next
6. If the code is correct you will be asked to choose a new password.
Please remember, passwords must be:

- be at least 8 characters long
- contain one or more capital letter
- contain one or more lower case letter
- contain one or more number
- cannot be the same as one of the five most recently used passwords for your account[
