About Gemma
Gemma McNeill
Accounting, Business & Administration Lecturer
Gemma McNeill a lecturer in the business section of the faculty, teaches accounting, administration, and business at both NQ and HN level.
Gemma has a Degree in Accountancy and a Postgraduate Qualification in Business. She is a part-qualified accountant and gained her industry experience as an accountant for a large hotel chain.
Gemma began her teaching career in secondary schools and then moved into further education. She has been teaching for over 30 years and during this time has also been employed by the SQA as an External Verifier in Accounting and Finance and a Qualification Development Specialist for several curriculum areas including most recently social media and digital technologies. Gemma is extremely passionate about her job.
Outside of the college Gemma is mum to a 15-year-old daughter who keeps her busy, but when she does have any spare time, she has a passion for seeing live bands.
