The New Flexible Workforce Development Fund (New FWDF) is now available, giving eligible employers and employees across Scotland the opportunity to access fully funded training through Glasgow Kelvin College.
Funded by the Scottish Government, the New FWDF supports workforce development by helping eligible employees gain new skills and recognised qualifications while enabling employers to invest in their workforce at no cost.
The fund offers up to £15,000 of training per employer each year, with up to £5,000 available per eligible employee. Training is delivered flexibly through Scotland's colleges to help meet the needs of businesses and individuals.
Employers of all sizes in the private, public and third sectors can apply, provided they operate in Scotland and are committed to Fair Work principles. Individual employees may also register their interest in funded training, with their employer's awareness and support.
Glasgow Kelvin College will work with organisations and individuals to identify suitable training opportunities, confirm eligibility and guide applicants through the funding process.
