Device Loan and ID Cards

Device Loan

We would like to make sure that you have an appropriate digital device to support your studies.

We have a limited number of devices available for loan. To apply, please complete the loan agreement /device application form. This will be made available from 3rd August 2026.

Before you apply, you must ensure you meet the following criteria:

• You have enrolled on your programme
• You do not have access to a pc/laptop at home
• You have access to Wi-Fi 

Devices will be available for collection from 24th August 2026, although some may be available on your Welcome and Freshers' event day. Please check with library 

Please ensure you have completed the form before collection. Devices are loaned for 12 weeks. If you need a device for a longer period, we will renew the loan for an additional 12 weeks and continue to do so until the end of the term.

Please note you must have access to your College IT account to access the form. You can only access your IT account once you have enrolled. The IT team will have sent you an email about 60-90 minutes after you enrol.

Devices for day loans are available on each of our campuses. We have Lapsafe Cabinets with laptops that can be easily accessed using your Digital Student ID.

Lastly, remember to download the Microsoft Teams and SharePoint app ( iOS / Android ) – these apps get you connected to the College communication streams.

Student ID card

Our Student ID Cards are now digital.  To a activate your card please go to MyKelvin and select photo upload.

IMPORTANT: All photos must be a head and shoulders passport style format. This photograph will appear on you Digital Student ID card and will not be able to be updated.

Once uploaded your Student Digital ID card will be activated
