Another Bike Breakfast took place on Monday 29th October at Glasgow Kelvin Velocity Cycle Hub (Springburn Campus), in collaboration with the Student Association.
We offered a free breakfast (coffee / tea / pastries) to everyone who joined us; beginner and advanced cyclists. We also took the opportunity to raise awareness about reducing waste and to encourage people to avoid disposable cups by using reusable cups.
Between 20 and 25 people turned up and it was a great opportunity to chat with everyone.
We were delighted to hear students and staff expressing a strong interest in sustainability and are willing to support Active Travel at Glasgow Kelvin College.
A special thanks to Conal Jardine, who brought his students along to learn more about active travel and to meet Sandra, Campus Cycling Officer.
The aim of this event is to give students and staff the opportunity to meet up and chat about all things cycling, regardless of cycling abilities. We are willing to organise more similar events in the next few months.
Once again, thank you to those who were able to attend the event! We hope you had a good time and look forward to seeing you the next one!
