If you have enrolled:
You will by now have received your timetable for the coming year which means you should be engaging with us sometime during week commencing 23rd August 2021. You may be aware that colleges are being asked, initially, to limit the numbers using their buildings at any one time and therefore only practical classes will be running at our campus buildings for the first part of the academic year. This is to keep you and your fellow students safe as we ease out of the COVID19 restrictions.
Therefore, although there may be a classroom number and campus on your timetable for the first class of your course, we are asking all students to Engage Online Only For Your First Class and your lecturer will explain at that time how your course will operate.
Please do not come into our Campus Buildings unless instructed to do so by your Lecturer or our Library / Learner Services staff.
Before your first class, your lecturer will send you instructions on how to join a Microsoft Teams session when you can meet with your fellow classmates online and get to know your lecturer through the induction session. Thereafter, your timetable will be explained to you.
When accessing your timetable through MyKelvin, your online classes will state ‘Online Engagement’ within your Calendar/Timetable (see example below).
If you are unable to engage online due to limitations of your own digital technology then we may be able to assist you through our laptop loan system. More information on this will be made available shortly.
