Course overview
Shape lives, build communities, and make a real difference in social care.
The HNC in Social Services (Care) is an advanced, full-time qualification designed for individuals committed to a rewarding career in the social care sector. The course blends theory and practice to help you understand the complexities of human behaviour, care values, and professional ethics — all essential for supporting individuals, families, and communities in diverse care settings.
This qualification incorporates three SVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care units and includes a substantial practical placement, giving you first-hand experience of professional practice.
