ESOL National 5 Stage 1 students plus teachers George Gillen and Candy Rankin went on a visit to Inchailloch (Isle of the Cowled woman) in Loch Lomond. We took the college minibus to Balhama and then a short ferry ride. It was a beautiful summer’s day. We were especially lucky to have Candy with us who explained about the history of the island as she had visited it several times before. When we got to the beach we were greeted by a very unusual site – several Scotsmen in historical dress who were there as part of a corporate package. We loved having our photos taken with them.
The highlight was when we walked up to a special viewing point and the sight was idyllic.
